A few of my findings and ramblings about diverse topics
| Reasons for undervolting | Less stress on the silicon, less stress on my power supply, overkill hardware for my use case and long term durability. |
| Linux recommendations | Immutable distributions that rely on containerization are great
for gaming enthusiasts and power users. They are also great for long-term stability. You'll find distributions such
as Bazzite or Fedora's immutable variants to be especially interesting.
If you don't have enthuasiast hardware or just use the computer for simple office work, I recommend Trisquel. Over the years, I learned a lot from the Arch Wiki and also with some notable distributions such as Arch Linux and Edubuntu. For server usage, I recommend Ubuntu server. For minimal installs, Alpine Linux. I use a software called Remmina to remote access my Windows 10 LTSC machine. I have tried many times to like Debian, however I can't help myself to it. (I will write about this at some point). |
| Technology-related recommendations | Casio watches are great for long term durability. Particularly the W-59-1VQ has won me over as a reliable, cheap and lightweight watch for daily use. |
| Music-related recommendations (oddities, wartime music, propaganda music) |
